Why PIP Reactor is the Future of Metal Leaching
Let’s start with a simple question: What if you could extract nearly 100% of metals from ore in just a fraction of a second, with minimal costs and no harm to the environment? Sounds like science fiction? But this is the reality we offer thanks to the unique PIP Reactor technology, developed by our close partners at IGAL Tecnología .
For the past 28 years, IGAL Tecnología has been perfecting and manufacturing unique equipment for the rapid and cost-effective processing of pulp and the complete extraction of metals from various materials, including simple and refractory ores, metallurgical slags, flotation tailings, and other technogenic formations. We are proud to be their partners and represent this revolutionary technology on the market.
What makes this technology special?
At the heart of the PIP Reactor lies the use of aerohydrocavitation installations that enable the instantaneous processing of pulp (just 1/40 of a second). During this process, complex physicochemical reactions occur, such as micro- and nanodispersion, mechanoactivation, the removal of stubborn films, and the opening of micro-inclusions and matrix minerals (e.g., iron and copper sulfides). This allows us to achieve record metal extraction rates (up to 98–100%) while keeping energy and reagent consumption to a minimum. Most importantly, all this happens without additional heating, making the process incredibly cost-effective.
This presentation will walk you through how the PIP Reactor works, its advantages, and real-world examples of its implementation at some of the largest mining and metallurgical enterprises in Chile and Peru. You’ll see how this technology can transform the way we process ore, slag, and even technogenic waste.
We believe that the PIP Reactor isn’t just equipment—it’s the key to solving many problems facing modern metallurgy. And we’re ready to show you how it works.
